Ofsted noted,

“Pupils are proud to attend this aspirational school….

The school has an expectation that all pupils achieve the very best outcomes they can.

This is evident in the qualifications they achieve…

Pupils enjoy attending the extensive range of clubs and the well-thought-out experiences, trips, and visits….

Beginning in the early years, the school has designed an ambitious curriculum.

It equips pupils with an extensive body of subject knowledge. Teachers know precisely what pupils should learn, and how it connects to their previous knowledge. The school’s curricular thinking builds on pupils’ knowledge progressively…

Teachers adapt their teaching skilfully when necessary. They are alert to any gaps in pupils’ learning and they make sure these are filled…. The school has extremely high expectations for pupils’ behaviour. These expectations are modelled by all staff consistently

Sukhjeet Rai, Headteacher for the Primary Phase, said, “We are absolutely thrilled with the outcome of the inspection. The Outstanding judgement underscores the effectiveness of integrating faith-inspired values with high quality education. It demonstrates the school’s ability to deliver academic excellence while nurturing the pupils’ spiritual, moral, social, and cultural development within a supportive and virtues-led environment. This achievement reflects the dedication of staff, the engagement of pupils, and the collaboration with parents and the wider community to create a holistic educational experience that prepares our pupils for success in both academic and personal aspects of their lives. We are grateful to everyone that has contributed to the journey so far and we look forward to future growth and success.”

Gerard Dineen, Secondary Phase Headteacher, commented, “We are pleased that the inspection team witnessed the incredible educational environment that our stakeholders and staff have created in the Nishkam School West London.  We are proud that the impact our faith inspired and virtues led approach to education is being recognised.  Our staff and students did so well over the two-day period to showcase all that is good about this school and we are so grateful for their contributions.  The successes that we have achieved together are a testament to their efforts and to our collective view that education is more than the simple acquisition of knowledge. Whilst we will take some time to celebrate this achievement, our attention now shifts back to the important work of achieving outcomes for our young people.  A task that our incredible staff are extremely well equipped to tackle.”
